Non-absorbable (or permanent) thread lifts are medical devices made of polypropylene or silicone, barbed to permanently reposition tissues (face, neck) without major surgery. Offering an immediate effect, they last for several years, unlike absorbable threads. Non-absorbable threads do not provide the biostimulation effect of absorbable threads, and the treatment is approximately twice as expensive.
