Unlike a standard hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, ERELLE does much more than simply add volume. It creates a genuine extracellular matrix SCAFOLD, providing a natural volumizing effect without the feeling of an implant.
ERELLE is degraded by macrophages rather than through an enzymatic pathway. This results in a short, controlled inflammatory response that stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and the body's own natural hyaluronic acid, without inducing fibrosis.
Because its degradation is not enzyme-dependent, patient responses are much more consistent. For example, in highly active patients or athletes, where a hyaluronic acid filler may be absorbed within a few months, ERELLE maintains its effect for approximately 18 months.
Another key advantage is that ERELLE does not attract water like hyaluronic acid, so there is no product-related swelling after injection.
Finally, cross-linked CMC remains stable up to approximately 200°C, whereas hyaluronic acid begins to degrade at around 42°C. As a result, after an ERELLE treatment, patients can safely undergo energy-based procedures such as laser treatments, fractional radiofrequency, and other heat-generating technologies without compromising the integrity of the product.
